About the authors:

Jaime Fowler has been editing for 25 years and was one of the first Avid Certified instructors on the West Coast. He has written four books about editing and his experiences with Avid software since 1999. The editor of six Emmy winning television programs, Jaime currently resides in Texas, where he teaches Avid Editing at the Art Institute in Dallas and continues to write and edit, using Sapphire as his primary tool for effects.

Todd Prives is the Sapphire Plug-ins Product Marketing Manager at GenArts. With over 6 years of industry experience in both production/post-production and visual effects software, he is a frequent speaker at user groups and tradeshows. At GenArts he is responsible for training, product demonstrations and technical support to customer sites worldwide. Todd currently resides in Cambridge, MA and can be found playing Australian Rules Football when not in a demo.
